New Delhi, Jaipur and Agra Tour Itinerary
Day 1
This afternoon, visit the Agra fort, built by the great Emperor Akbar, and the Taj Mahal, the symbol of love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Another option is Dayal Bagh. In the evening, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2
Drive to Jaipur, the pink city, after breakfast, stopping along the way to view Fatehpur Sikri, Mughal Emperor Akbar's barren red sandstone city. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Spend the night in a hotel in Jaipur.
Day 3
After breakfast, take an elephant ride through Amber and view the 16th-century Amber fort. Drive by the Wind Palace, also known as the Hawa Mahal. A walk to the nearby Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory, will be followed by a visit to the city palace and museum in the afternoon. The rest of the evening is yours to do as you like.
Day 4
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel to Delhi for 4 to 5 hours without stopping. Go shopping at the nearby Karol Bagh market, which is one of Asia's major textile and electrical markets, after freshening up. Dinner will be served later that evening, and you will stay in a Delhi hotel that night.
Day 5
You'll go sightseeing in Old Delhi this morning after breakfast. The Raj Ghat, Red Fort, and Jama Masjid are all worth seeing, as are Chandni Chowk and the spice market. Then travel to New Delhi to see all it has to offer. The Qutub Minar, India's tallest stone tower, the colossal India Gate, the Rashtrapathi Bhawan, the Lotus Temple, and the newly built Akshardham temple are also notable sites. In the evening, drive to the airport and drop off at the Delhi airport/railway station for your next flight.
