Thimphu, Paro and Wangdue Phodrang Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Our agent will meet you at the Paro airport and drive you to Thimphu. Visit the Iron Bridge, which was constructed in the fourteenth century by the famous Tibetan iron bridge builder Thangthong Gyalbo. Hotel Refreshments and check-in. drive to Sangaygang View Point afterwards for a comprehensive view of Bhutan's capital city, and then go to Takin Preserve Centre to see the country's national animal. Visit Tashichhodzong, the country's capital stronghold, in the afternoon. Dinner and a hotel stay the following day.
Day 2
Visit the Memorial Chorten (temple), which was constructed in 1974 in honour of Bhutan's third king. Visit the 51-meter-tall Buddha monument that was recently constructed, which faces east and offers sweeping views of the entire city of Thimphu. Visit Changangkha Lhakhang, one of the valley's oldest temples, and then the weekend market (held on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Visit the Handmade Paper Mill, the Folk Heritage Museum, the Textile Museum, and the School of skills and Crafts, where students learn 13 various skills mostly employed in Bhutan.
Day 3
Afterwards, head towards Punakha. Stop along the way at Dochula Pass at 3100m for a breathtaking vista and photo opportunities of some of Bhutan's tallest mountain peaks (Himalayan ranges), which span over 180 degrees. After exploring the newly constructed 108 stupas, carry on driving to Punakha's subtropical valley. The drive offers stunning scenery. Before checking into the hotel, take a walk through a paddy field to ChimiLhakhang, a fertility temple connected to the phallic religious art. You'll be taking a tonne of the images in this category that are posted at most Bhutanese homes' entrances. Visit Punakha Dzong, which is regarded as the nation's most beautiful stronghold, after that. You can take images of the Dzong from any angle you like.
Day 4
Start your day with a scenic drive in the direction of the country's east. Even though the drive is lengthy, the scenery along the route is incredibly varied in terms of flowers and animals. One can see Mount Jomolhari, the world's scariest mountain, if the weather is favourable (7316 m). Visit the historical stronghold Trongsa Dzong along the way. Spend the night at Bumthang.
Day 5
Bumthang, one of Bhutan's most picturesque regions, is reputed to be the country's second Switzerland. After breakfast, go on a day trip to Ura Valley with a hot picnic lunch. On the way back, stop at the Burning Lake (meaberchoe) and take a stroll through the neighbourhood. Bumthang is renowned for having a huge textile industry.
Day 6
Morning following breakfast Visit Kurjey Lhakhang and Jambey Lhakhang, two of Bhutan's oldest temples built in the seventh century. Transfer to Trongsa later on and explore Trongsa Dzong.
Day 7
Drive to the beautiful Phobjikha/Gangtey Valley after breakfast in the morning. This bowl-shaped glacial valley is where the endangered black-necked cranes spend the winter as they migrate from Tibet to Bhutan each October through February. Visit Gangtey Monastery, a beautifully restored monastery that offers stunning artwork and architecture to visitors. Enjoy your nature route through the village and down to the valley, where it concludes at the Khewalhakhang temple. Enjoy the breathtaking valley view from your room.
Day 8
Start your drive back to Paro early. Visit the National Museum in Paro, the first of its kind, which houses a collection of works ranging from religious paintings to natural history exhibits. On foot, explore the Paro Dzong (Fortress) from the 17th century and proceed across the oldest wooden bridge still in use. Wander through some of the local handcraft shops in the evening. For dinner, one can also dare to visit a nearby eatery.
Day 9
Tiger's Nest, the most adored shrine in the country, hangs literally from a granite cliff above the Paro valley. After an early morning drive of 25 minutes to the base camp of the temple, you can begin your walk to the complex. Visit Kitchu Lhakhang, the nation's oldest temple, in the afternoon. It was constructed in the 7th century by the first dharma raja of Tibet.

Drive to Chelela Pass, your trip's highest point at 3988 metres, after breakfast. Chelela Pass is a scenic Pass that is great for mountain biking and trekking. The drive to Chelela from Paro is very appealing, with a wide variety of plants and animals to see along the way. When the
Weather is right, one can also see Mt. Jomolhari, the tallest mountain in the nation at 7314 metres. Afternoon free time in the city.
Day 10
Transfer to the airport for your trip out. At the airport, a member of our tour team will bid you farewell.
